Apart of dancing, we also support other creative practices such as sketching, street art, music, educational initiatives as well as build a new network of young producers.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions we have decided to split festival parts in small local events. During whole month we will organize series of events on different city spots.

About
Dance Connection is a cultural exchange
project between Nordic Countries
and Russia, which goal is to strengthen
the cooperation between young people,
street dancers and youth workers
The project is run by Nordkonst (SE) in collaboration
with SADE (FI), Finnish Breaking Association (FI),
MUD Arrangements (NO) and XO Hip Hop Centre (RU)
The project’s participants could take part in three events:
a three days street dance festival in St. Petersburg,
a one week dance boot camp in Pskov and a public event, which included a conferenceand dance workshops.
Focus
The main focus in the project is put on young people and their development as independent cultural actors willing to work towards social change across borders and regions, as well as support local cultural productions and businesses.
